Listen to some interesting covers of familiar power-pop songs and Charlie Lujack’s interview on Radio New York International. Dave the BoogieMan and Bad Barry launched a valiant effort to make Charlie look erudite. But, alas, his cluelessness proved impenetrable.
How about some lighthearted Greek tragedy? Here’s “Icarus,” one of our songs that they featured. He’s the boy with wax wings who flew too close to the sun…which, admittedly, is not as impressive as defeating Hydra or conquering the Minotaur. But, hey, tragedy is a competitive niche market.
